I've decided to log my personal development plan online as it seems i have more motivation to do it this way..
other in a work of art in relation to the presence that the artist leaves behind, the artists 'voice'. In visual language, we're encouraged to make our mark with our individual 'voice'; some art critics think the author is dead (....?....) and that the artwork speaks for itself so i guess from the artists point of view, the other is the thing that precedes the work being finished. the voice is the other. then the author dies when the works over. then the audience carry on the work.. i wonder after the author dies, how the other is seen by the audience.. as a memory of a voice, a dead voice, secondary, dusty........
photography i bought 2 old 70's camera's from ebay, and set up some pics today. canonrebel.
next I got the film processed today and as it was the first time using the cameras, I got snap happy using the cheap film as a tester.. I took a couple of pics of patterned tights which I cropped with scissors and arranged a few of my fav pics.. i like the way the legs/tights are holding up all the clutter. I also prefer the over exposed pics from the olympia camera as it adds a nice touch kind of vintage-dated instead of out-dated!
Not a huge fan of Hockney's photography but theres another photographer (...?...) who takes lots of individual small pics and puts them all together fitting into an A-size (convenient for magazines/media/£££
legs holding up a camerarunning around getting the pics.. photography is an active endeavor
the photos become more of a memory than the memory itself
the photos become more than the memory
the photos become the memory
the memory of the photo
the memory of the memory of the photo
the memory of the memory of the memory of the memory of the photo
keep it fresh
change it round
the memory of the photo of the photo

theres more to knowing what youre doing after you've done it
